Welcome to Genesis 

We created Genesis to give kids a welcoming space to hang out, make great friends, and explore their faith in a way that actually feels meaningful to them. (And yes, we named it Genesis as a starting point before Exodus, our teen program!) 

What Evenings Look Like

The last thing kids need after a long day at school is another class. We keep our Thursday nights lively, interactive, and centered around real connection. 

Together with our amazing volunteer team, each week includes: 

• Games & Group Activities: Simple, fun ways to unwind and break the ice.
• Real Conversations: Open discussions about faith, life, and the stuff kids actually care about.
• Hands-on Prayer & Faith: Practical ways to talk with God and learn what walking with Jesus looks like every day.

We're building this experience with the kids, adjusting our activities and topics as we learn what helps them feel supported and excited to show up.

What We're Exploring Each Week: 

• Nov 5 — You Belong Here (Psalm 139:13–14)

Knowing who we are and seeing our value in God's eyes. 

• Nov 12 — Everyone Has a Place (1 Corinthians 12:12–14)

Discovering how everyone fits in and matters to our community. 

• Nov 19 — Talking With God (1 Samuel 3:1–10)

Learning how to pray and listen to God in everyday life. 

• Nov 26 — Learning From Jesus (Luke 24:13–35)

Taking a closer look at Jesus’ life and how He treated people. 

• Dec 3 — God Forgives and Helps Us Begin Again (Luke 15:11–24)

Understanding grace, mercy, and getting a fresh start. 

• Dec 10 — Sent to Love Others (Matthew 5:14–16)

Finding simple ways to share kindness and faith with the world around us.
