- We were blessed to have Bishop Alan Campeau celebrate Mass here, at St. Simon & St. Jude, last Sunday, August 31st at the 10:30am Mass, followed by a reception at the Good Neighbour Club. A card and a spiritual bouquet were presented to him at the reception.
  
  Bishop Campeau, an Essex County native, born and raised in Belle River, was ordained Bishop of Thunder Bay in February of 2025. He is also the Spiritual Advisor for the Catholic Women’s League Councils in Ontario. We offer Bishop Campeau our prayers and support as he carries out his duties & responsibilities in Thunder Bay.
