The 40 Days for Life campaign is taking place from now until November 1st 2026, bringing together people committed to praying and fasting for the protection of unborn children and for women facing difficult pregnancy decisions.
We ask for prayer and fasting, and a peaceful, prayerful vigil on Tecumseh Rd in front of Met Hospital. Participants are encouraged to pray the Rosary and offer their time in support of life.
Parishes are being invited to participate by providing two or more volunteers for five hours each week, working in teams of two or more and taking one-hour shifts. Parishes may also choose to “Adopt a Day” and help fill as many hours as possible on a particular day.
Resources and support will be provided by the 40 Days for Life team, including assistance for those participating for the first time.
